HTC MozartThe HTC 7 Mozart is, as is indicated by the name, a device very suited to playing music. It has virtual surround sound, which gives a cinematic, 3D effect, making this phone perfect for playing tunes or watching video.

The HTC 7 Mozart also boasts the most impressive camera of the Windows Phone 7 devices released, at a huge 8 megapixels, making it one of the best camera phones available. Couple that with Xenon flash and this really is as much camera as it is phone.

HTC have really made the most of Windows Phone 7 being the first smartphone to implement a pocket to picture to post technology. The operating system insists on a specific camera button which works even when the screen is locked, making using your phone as a camera even easier.

Available on Orange from £15 a month, or £25 a month with a the handset free. Also avilable from £15 per month here, also on Orange.

With a 3.7inch screen, the HTC Mozart isn't the largest device, but the screen is ample to be able to watch video, play games and manage emails. With 8GB storage you will be able to store music and video, but may need to be careful if you take a lot of photos so you don't run out of space.

Of course another feature of the Windows Phone 7 is making use of the Cloud, so if you set up your phone to store your photos on the internet then the 8GB should be fine for even the most snap-happy.

The memory stands at 576MB RAM and 512MB ROM, which is what you would find in a decent laptop from 5 years ago.

Whilst the front of the Mozart clearly echoes the HD2 and Desire models, the back adds a rugged, modern feel with a dual texture and industrial appearance. This phone appears designed for a modern, busy lifestyle, and the contoured back panel allows for easy grip.

The HTC Mozart is not available in the US at launch, but will be available in the UK and France (Orange), Germany (Deutsche Telecom), and Australia (Telstra).
