The screen slides and tilts to reveal the keyboard, at an angle which then also allows the device to stand - creating a perfect angle for viewing slideshows or watching videos. HTC are promoting the Pro as their business phone - although as has been said about the other phones in the HTC range, they are all equally capable of being business phones, games phones and music players. The hardware keyboard does however make this model a logical choice for those who do a lot of communicating by text or email, and would be perfect for busy commuters wanting to work on documents on the way to and from work. Much less cumbersome than a laptop, the Pro enables you to edit and create Office documents and save them to the Cloud where they will be accessible to your PC. Documents can be uploaded to and downloaded from SharePoint, allowing you to work alongside teams in the office while you are out and about. Windows Phone 7 has the expert system when it comes to mobile email management, as the Outlook integration on this phone even allows you to see flagged messages. The Pro is a modern looking device, and HTC's tagline 'Whiz through your day' is echoed in the carbon fibre effect of the keyboard and screen surround. The Pro has a 3.6 inch screen, 5 megapixel camera, capable of 720px HD video recording. It is a quick and powerful device, with a 576MB RAM and 512MB ROM. The HTC 7 Pro has 16GB of storage, perfect for storing important documents, music or videos. The HTC 7 Pro is not yet available but should be available to the UK and Europe in early 2011. |

The HTC 7 Pro is the only HTC Windows Phone 7 device with a hardware keyboard. The Pro, like the LG Quantum, has opted for a horizontal keyboard, allowing for a greater typing accuracy for those needing to email on the go.
