Imminent launch for Windows Phone 7 in UK?

Speculation is mounting that Windows Phone 7 may be released any time soon, with the most likely candidate being perhaps the 5th October Microsoft "Special Event" taking place in London.

With the first Windows Mobile 7 ad now out, the excitement is building, but will there be the iPhone style queues on release day? We think so!
